The First of Many...

So I just wanted to say "Thanks" for coming to my blog. I am pretty new to the whole blogging thing, but then again being new to things is pretty much the norm for me right now. What I mean is - I am newly married and have a new last name, I just recently moved to a new city, and into a new house. I have started a new job for a new company. New is ok different, but good.

In all this newness, I have also found new hobbies. I still have my old ones too, but I have recently expanded on one in particular. If you know me, then you know I have always loved being creative. Whether it be creating  costumes (I love dressing up), or Christmas gifts, I have always loved being crafty. But recently, I have found a new love for decorating and design. As much as I would love to spend hundreds of dollars on making my home beautiful. I have realized it doesn't have to cost a fortune. I have really enjoyed visiting thrift stores, garage sales, and flea markets. With a fresh coat of paint, pretty much anything can look new.

So I have decided to just kind of document my changing world, by blogging about new crafts and being creative. I'm sure somewhere along the way I will talk about life (I'm sure this will happen more than not), too. So hopefully you are along for the adventure. Let the fun begin!!
